Pastor Vladimir Georgiev was born in the capital city of Bulgaria--Sofia. He accepted Christ as a personal Savior in December 1991, and nine months later he was called to pastoral ministry. His first missionary field was a small church near the capital. During the following few years, he joined the Bible Institute in Sofia as an administrative and financial manager. This was a period, when he traveled around Bulgaria, visiting many churches.
In 1999, Pastor Vladimir moved his family to Chicago. After connecting with Bulgarian Evangelical Churches around the US, he felt a call to join New Life as a pastor leading the Bible studies and later – as a senior pastor.
He holds a master’s degree in finance from the University of National and World Economy-Sofia (1996), and a master’s degree in Bible studies from Wheaton College, Illinois (2001).
Pastor Vladimir is married to Deliana with whom he shares two daughters—Bistra and Iva. Currently they reside in Bloomingdale, Illinois.
