HISTORY
- 1996 – an enthusiastic group of Bulgarian immigrants start getting together in a COG Cleveland Church building in Chicago.
- 1997 – the church grows to 30 people and the congregation moves to its current location at 1480 E Oakton Street where they rent from Baptist Church. Preachers and ministers during this time are Dony Donev , Stan Tanev and Rosen Spassov.
- 1997 – the church is registered under Church of God Cleveland as Nickolai Vasilev becomes the first pastor of the church.
- 1999 – the church purchases the current building and starts regular Sunday morning and Sunday night services
- 2001 – the church starts TV, newspaper and bus ministry. The congregation grows to 60-80 regular attendants.
- 2004 – Stanimir Tanev becomes the pastor of the church while Mario Hristov becomes officially a youth pastor.
- 2005 – Vladimir Georgiev joins the church as Teaching Pastor
- 2005 – the church starts regular weekly services and Sunday bible lessons
- 2006 – the congregation reaches 100 people in attendance
- 2007 – the youth group starts Thursday youth services as youth worship team starts leading the service events
- 2007 – regular Sunday and Friday prayer meetings are being added to the church schedule of events
- 2008 – the church purchases the adjacent property to the church and doubles the parking space capacity plus a house for youth center and parsonage.
- 2008 – Vladimir Georgiev becomes Senior pastor of the church
- 2009 – the church votes for extension of the existing building to accommodate 250 people.
